    Multi 50 Maitre Jacques broken float washes up after three months adrift in the Atlantic Ocean

    The front section of the starboard float of the Multi 50 Maître Jacques trimaran had snapped last November, approximately 130 miles off the northwestern tip of Spain. After drifting since then in the Atlantic, it miraculously washed up near Port la Forêt in Brittany, the port where the trimaran is docked!!

    Erwan Le Roux and Yann Elies crossed the finish line of the Transat Jacques Vabre double handed race from Le Havre to Itajaí, Brasil at 03h 40min 15s local time, (05h 40m 15s UTC / GMT) early this Friday morning to win the Multi50 class.
