    From the Classes, Santiago Lange is the new Nacra 17 president

    Santiago Lange (ARG) is the new President of the International Nacra 17 Class Association. The Nacra 17 executive co-opted Santi officially into the role at an executive meeting on December 8th. Santi stepped up to the commitment and is prepared to lead us through the World Sailing Event review for the 2028 Olympics. He takes over from Nathan Outteridge (AUS) who has turned his focus toward the next America's Cup.

    World Match Racing Tour, 2022 calendar is out

    The World Match Racing Tour (WMRT) today announced its 2022 world championship season with a 19 event schedule across 12 countries including new World Tour level events in Puerto Rico and Italy. 2022 will mark the 22nd consecutive season of WMRT, the longest running professional series in sailing awarded ‘Special Event’ status by World Sailing.

    American Magic, the U.S. Challenger for the 36th America's Cup and a prospective Challenger for the 37th, was pleased to receive the AC37 Protocol and updated AC75 Class Rule as part of a joint release earlier this week from the Defender, Emirates Team New Zealand, and the Challenger of Record, INEOS Britannia.

    The Protocol of the 37th America’s Cup was released today by the Defender, the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron and Emirates Team New Zealand and the Challenger of Record - Royal Yacht Squadron Ltd and their representative team INEOS Britannia, eight months to the day after Emirates Team New Zealand successfully defended the America’s Cup.
