Sailing legends say that when you give Sailing World’s organizers the boot and replace the NOOD with your own regatta, Neptune (and perhaps Karma) give you three years of great breeze.  True or not, in the second year since Detroit’s Bayview Yacht Club moved to its own format, the Bayview One-Design (BOD) delivered 3 days of 15+ knots of breeze and all-around amazing conditions for nearly 200 boats on the Detroit River and Lake St. Clair.  We’ll have a full report from the Wayfarer Class-winning crew Mr. Clean later this week; until then, enjoy some sideways sailing amongst the resurgent 7-boat J/120 fleet  aboard Night Moves.
