Palma, Spain (June 19, 2013) – The first day of the Superyacht Cup proved to be a fantastic opportunity to showcase the five powerful J Class Yachts. Conditions in the bay of Palma were predictably perfect with 15-19 knots and wave height of only 1.5m. On corrected time the Ken Read skippered Hanuman won by one and half minutes, Ranger took second with the closest finish between Lionheart and Rainbow whose positions were reversed on handicap with Lionheart taking third by eleven seconds.
